HONEST ABE: FOUR SCORES AND MORE
This series of concerts was conceived and produced by Elliott Forrest to celebrate ABRAHAM LINCOLN'S 200th Birthday. It featured narrator JAMES EARL JONES, violinist/composer MARK O'CONNOR, The Little Orchestra Society conducted by DINO ANAGNOST and large-scale images of Lincoln and his time. The music featured Copland's Lincoln Portrait, New York premieres of works by Peter Schickele and Mark O'Connor and more.
